About Us
Why We Started Planet Insurance
We have always been driven by the business community, and over time it became clear to us that too many business owners and families in the Sugar Hill, GA area were being turned away or underserved by agencies that simply were not willing to put in the work. Josh Uddin launched Planet Insurance with the specific goal of filling that gap, building an agency that would say yes when others said no and that would treat every client’s coverage challenge as a worthy pursuit rather than an inconvenience.
What Makes Us Different
We specialize in the niche and hard-to-place insurance market that most local and national agencies will not touch. Hotels, gas stations, bars, and nightclubs require carriers and expertise that a standard Main Street agency cannot offer, and we have built our book of business around exactly those clients. We shop multiple carriers on your behalf, we never stop at the first declination, and we take it as a personal challenge to find coverage for anyone who walks through our door ready and willing to be insured.
Our Agency, Our Lines, and Who We Serve
Planet Insurance is an independent insurance agency serving personal and commercial clients throughout the Sugar Hill, GA area and beyond. Our core lines include auto, home, business, life and health, hotel, and gas station insurance. We also place bonds, builders risk, workers compensation, recreational coverage for boats and motorcycles, and general liability for bars and nightclubs. Our clients range from individual families seeking reliable personal lines coverage to niche commercial operators who need a specialist with the market access and persistence to get the job done.
Our Commitment to the Community
Being deeply involved in the local community is not a marketing line for us, it is the foundation of how we operate. We are neighbors to the clients we serve in Sugar Hill, GA and the surrounding area, and that relationship drives us to go the extra mile on every account. We believe that an insurance agency should be a genuine partner to the businesses and families it protects, not a transactional call center, and that community investment is what separates a trusted local agency from a faceless online provider.
